Rattan pendant lights add natural texture and focused warmth to dining rooms, kitchen islands, bedrooms, and casual living spaces. This collection brings together woven pendant styles in a range of sizes, weave densities, and silhouettes — from compact single pendants to larger statement fixtures suited for open-plan rooms.
Size matters most when choosing a pendant. Measure the diameter of the space where the fixture will hang and compare it against the listed fixture diameter and body height — these are separate from the total hanging length, which includes the cord or rod. A single large pendant works well over a round dining table or a compact island. For longer islands or wide dining tables, two or three smaller pendants spaced evenly tend to read better than one oversized fixture.
Weave density shapes the light output. An open weave allows more direct light through and may cast patterned shadows on surrounding walls. A tighter weave diffuses the light more evenly and reduces glare — useful in bedrooms or spaces where softer ambient light is preferred. Brightness is determined by the bulb or LED source, not the shade.
For room placement, consider ceiling height and clearance. Over a dining table, the bottom of the pendant typically hangs 30 to 36 inches above the tabletop at standard ceiling heights. Confirm the total hanging length on each product page before ordering.
