Installation & Care
- Hardwired ceiling installation — professional installation to a standard ceiling junction box is recommended.
- Suspend the tiers in sequence and adjust the fine aircraft cables so the red ceramic counterweight balances evenly.
- Emits an ethereal, 360-degree glare-free glow through the textured, crinkled paper diffusers.
- Gently dust the paper shades using a feather duster or dry microfiber duster. Keep away from water and high humidity.
- For indoor use in dry locations only.

Hung the large 100cm Aera above our dining table and the floating tiers of crinkled paper look like an ethereal glowing sculpture. That glossy crimson red ceramic ring balancing beneath the lower tier is pure genius. Everyone is mesmerized by it.

Because the shades are made of Japanese style paper over slim alloy rings the whole fixture is surprisingly light. Our electrician mounted the ceiling bracket and calibrated the drop in thirty minutes.

We bought the smaller diameter for our dining space with standard nine-foot ceilings. It has generous presence without feeling heavy or visually blocking the view across the open kitchen.

The crinkled washi paper is remarkably durable yet delicate to handle. Take your time suspending the tiers in sequence and adjusting the thin aircraft wires so the red ceramic ring floats completely level.
