Alva Fluted Alabaster Cordless Table Lamp

You can instantly tell this is genuine stone from the cold touch and solid weight. Outstanding attention to detail on the brass pedestal transition.

The stone is ground to a matte honed surface rather than a shiny synthetic gloss. It feels organic and substantial like something found in a boutique spa.

A quick press turns it on or off while a continuous press adjusts brightness up and down. The memory retains your preferred dimming level between uses.

Unlike molded plastic resin imitation stones this genuine alabaster diffuses the internal LED with authentic organic softness. Zero harsh glares anywhere.

I plug it into my regular phone charger on the kitchen counter once a week. The battery lasts through multiple long evenings of relaxing with a book.

At over two and a half pounds for a four inch cylinder this lamp has incredible physical heft. The cool honed alabaster stone feels luxurious to hold.

During sunny daytime hours the horizontal flutes catch natural window light like a miniature architectural sculpture. It looks beautiful twenty four hours a day.

We carry these outside to our screened porch table whenever friends come over. Since they are cordless and heavy the evening breeze cannot blow them over.

Dialed down to low power this emits a sleepy honey glow that is just bright enough to navigate the room without waking anyone up.

The lamp itself is an absolute work of art. My only minor critique is the provided USB cable is fairly short so I just use my existing six foot laptop cable.

Given that natural carved stone can be delicate in transit I was glad to see it encased in thick dense foam. The brass base was pristine without any scratches.

The combination of the brass foot and heavy solid stone keeps it securely in place even when brushing past it on the bedside nightstand.

Because every block of real stone varies naturally my lamp has a distinct darker mineral streak on one side. It still glows nicely but looks different from the studio picture.

We have an open brass bar cart with no nearby wall sockets. Having this little glowing stone cylinder next to our decanters creates an instant speakeasy vibe.

The horizontal carved grooves give the smooth alabaster cylinder so much visual rhythm. The brushed brass base ring adds a tasteful warm metallic grounding.

Make sure you check the four inch height before buying. It is a petite accent lamp rather than a full sized table lamp. That said the stone quality is remarkable.

The stone on mine has delicate cloudy grey and amber striations running through the flutes. When lit from within the mineral patterns glow like embers.

Holding the little button smoothly dims the warm light down to a quiet whisper. It replaces messy dripping wax candles on our dinner table completely.
