Inspired by iconic 1980s Swiss-Italian postmodern design, the Shogun Striped Architectural Table Lamp pairs a bold black-and-white striped column stem with dual curved, perforated metal diffusers. The two independently adjustable wings rotate around the light source, casting dynamic architectural shadow patterns across walls while providing focused reading light below and soft ambient diffusion above. Crafted from powder-coated lacquered iron with a tactile matte frosted finish, Shogun makes a graphic modernist statement on desks, consoles, and bedside credenzas.

E
Between the heavy iron base the iconic striping and the movable perforated shades this lamp delivers museum grade presence to our home.
N
I angle one wing toward my open book while leaving the other wing angled toward the room corner for soft bounce. Versatile and brilliantly engineered.
S
Everyone who visits our home stops to examine this lamp. The ability to customize the wing openings makes it an interactive art installation.
M
This is a tall architectural fixture at nearly two feet so it overwhelmed my tiny floating nightstand. I moved it to our spacious entryway console where it looks fantastic.
D
Original vintage editions sell for thousands at auction so finding this exceptional tribute was a dream. The perforation alignment on the steel diffusers is flawless.
J
At nearly two feet tall this lamp has serious physical presence. It anchors my minimalist walnut desk and provides great focused downward light for sketching.
A
Swiveling the two curved metal shades creates geometric moire shadows that look like moving architectural art. It transforms our living room credenza into a design gallery.
V
The playful geometry and industrial materials balance our exposed brick walls beautifully. It is easily my favorite lighting purchase of the entire year.
T
The paint lines between the white and black sections are razor sharp without any overspray or bleeding. Excellent attention to manufacturing detail.
C
The micro perforations in the curved shields soften the bulb output while letting warm light bleed through. Sitting across the room is totally glare free.
A
The inline switch has a firm responsive click and the electrical power cord has generous length to reach our floor outlet without straining.
R
Even when turned off during daytime hours the black and white column reads like a modern sculpture. It completely ties together our monochromatic living room.
D
The perforated metal produces sharp lattice shadow lines across nearby walls. While I appreciate the bold geometric mood it might be too dramatic for standard computer work.
H
The parcel arrived in pristine condition. The curved steel wings were isolated in molded styrofoam inserts so there was zero distortion or bending of the mesh.
C
The circular metal foot has solid heft so the tall striped column never teeters or wobbles when you adjust the shade angles. Outstanding mechanical stability.
M
The lamp is spectacular and built like a tank. My only small note is that the swivel hinges on the perforated wings were a bit tight on day one until pivoted a few times.
A
I love that each curved perforated wing turns separately. You can close them completely for a moody ambient lantern or open them wide for direct illumination.
G
The graphic striped stem pays homage to 1980s Swiss Italian architecture. The matte powder coat finish is smooth to the touch and completely non reflective.
