B
The smoked gradient on the glass hemisphere is consistent and bubble free. The swivel mechanism feels firm with just enough resistance so it stays exactly where you aim it.
J
Everyone who visits comments on the unique half glass half diffuser orb. It elevated our entire living room corner. Excellent build quality and very soothing light output.
Thank you Jessica! We are so pleased to hear Theia has brought both function and artistic flair to your living space.
H
During the day I spin the diffuser outward to read work documents. At night I rotate the smoked side toward the room and it casts a smoky golden glow that is so cozy for relaxing.
M
Looks like a collectible design piece from Milan. The matte black stem is slender and minimalistic while the smoked glass globe adds high end texture. Highly recommended.
P
The carton was over five feet long and arrived with minor shipping scuffs. The inner molded foam held the glass sphere tightly with zero damage. Took about fifteen minutes to assemble.
Thanks for the feedback Patrick! We reinforce the packaging to protect the dual glass hemispheres during freight.
D
Tucked behind our sofa with the cord running along the baseboard. Tapping the round foot switch to turn it on without having to bend down is a great practical touch.
C
Because you swivel the head I was concerned the lamp might wobble. The round matte black base is very heavy and anchors the whole five foot stem securely even on low pile rug.
T
The smoked glass is beautiful but you will leave finger smudges if you grab the glass dome directly to swivel it. Turning it from the center metal ring works smoothly and keeps the glass spotless.
G
Being able to swivel the shade from direct task light toward the wall for indirect mood lighting is genius. We keep it right beside our reading armchair. The smoked glass hemisphere looks so sophisticated.
Thank you Gillian! The rotating two hemisphere design was inspired by the balance of light and shadow.
