What is alabaster, and how does it affect the light?

Alabaster is a naturally occurring mineral stone prized for its translucency and soft, veined texture. When lit from within, it produces a warm, diffused glow with subtle variation across the surface — no two shades look exactly alike. This gives the Nimbus Alabaster Pendant a living, organic quality that glass or acrylic diffusers cannot replicate.

Which configuration should I choose — 1, 3, 4, or 5 lights?

Choose based on your space and desired light output. A single pendant suits a bedside, entryway, or small dining nook. Three lights work well over a kitchen island or long dining table. Four or five lights are ideal for larger dining rooms, open-plan living areas, or statement installations where layered light and visual drama are the goal.

Does this pendant come with bulbs?

No — bulbs are not included. It uses a standard E26/E27 base. We recommend a warm white LED (2700–3000K) for the most flattering effect through the alabaster shade. If you plan to dim, ensure the bulb is rated as dimmable.

Is this pendant dimmable?

Yes — it is dimmable, but requires a compatible dimmer switch (sold separately) and a dimmable E26/E27 LED bulb. Using a non-dimmable bulb with a dimmer may cause flickering or buzzing.

How long is the suspension cord, and can I adjust it?

The cord is adjustable up to 78.7" (200 cm / approx. 6.5 ft), making it suitable for both standard and high ceilings. Excess cord is managed at the canopy during installation.

Is each alabaster shade unique?

Yes. Because alabaster is a natural stone, each shade has its own veining pattern, tone variation, and translucency. Minor differences in appearance between units are a characteristic of the material, not a defect.

Is professional installation required?

Yes. The Nimbus Alabaster Pendant is a hardwired fixture that must be connected to your home’s electrical system. We strongly recommend installation by a licensed electrician, particularly for multi-light configurations which involve more complex wiring.

Is this light suitable for outdoor use?

No — this pendant is rated for indoor use only. Alabaster is a porous natural stone and is not weatherproof. Do not install in outdoor areas, bathrooms, or high-humidity environments.

What is the warranty and return policy?

This pendant comes with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. For returns or exchanges, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Please note that natural variation in alabaster appearance is not considered a defect.
