Helia Sculptural Alabaster Linear Chandelier

My husband was hesitant because of the price tag but as soon as we turned it on after dinner he admitted it was the best design choice we made for the house.

We were looking for something long and linear that was not just another plain black track light. This alabaster chandelier is pure luxury and completely elevated our meal times.

I was hoping the stone would have nice organic character and it definitely does. Creamy white with faint cloudy marbling that comes alive when illuminated.

Replaced an old crystal chandelier that felt dated. This linear alabaster fixture immediately brought our dining room into the present day. Gentle even light across the entire tabletop.

Being able to toggle between warm and neutral light from the regular wall switch is fantastic. Neutral is great during meal prep and warm creates the perfect evening mood.

The thick alabaster does a remarkable job softening the LEDs. You can look directly at the fixture during dinner without squinting. We love the warm light option the best.

Each alabaster pod has its own unique subtle veining. The brushed brass has a soft satin sheen that looks very high end in person. Excellent build quality all around.

The six stone cylinders disperse the light three hundred and sixty degrees so the ceiling gets a gentle wash as well. No harsh shadows anywhere in the room.

Mounted this in our conference room above a custom ten foot white oak table. It provides ample illumination for meetings while feeling warm and welcoming.

Shipped freight and arrived securely palletized in heavy duty cardboard. The delivery driver brought it right into our entryway. Zero scratches or chipped stone.

Do not attempt to hang this alone. You need someone supporting the fixture bar while the other person connects the wiring and secures the canopy. Looks spectacular once up.

The fluted detailing on the stone pods gives it an artisanal handcrafted feel. It is not cheap but you can immediately see and feel where the money went.

The brass bar feels rigid and does not sag at all under the weight of the stone pods. Machining and screw threads were clean and aligned properly.

During the day the carved alabaster looks like a sculpture suspended over our island. At night it turns into this ethereal luminous cloud. Could not be happier.

Installing the electrical box was straightforward but leveling the two outer steel cables took several adjustments to get it completely horizontal. Once locked in it feels rock solid.

I am an interior designer and specified this for a client renovation in Chicago. The proportions and tactile stone finish rival European custom fixtures costing three times as much.

The central brass downrod is a set length so make sure you measure down from your ceiling before buying. On our nine foot ceiling it sits just right above our dining table.

Pairs wonderfully with our travertine table and minimalist chairs. The linear silhouette feels architectural while the natural stone adds warmth. Our guests comment on it constantly.

Given all the stone components I was nervous about shipping damage. The fixture arrived nestled in dense molded foam with every alabaster piece individually wrapped. Everything was flawless.

One of the end pods has a much darker mineral streak running through it compared to the others. It definitely proves it is genuine stone but took some getting used to. Still a handsome chandelier.

At fifty three inches it covers our kitchen island nicely without overpowering the space. The light shines evenly down and outward. It feels like an art piece during the day.

Real carved stone so it has substantial weight. You will definitely need two people and a solid ladder to mount it safely. Once the balance cables were adjusted it hangs dead level.

We hung this over our walnut dining table and it completely makes the room. The stone pods diffuse the light into such a warm gentle glow without any harsh points. Truly worth every penny.
